Oslo S Utvikling (OSU) is a major real estate company and property developer established in 2001. The company is owned by the companies Entra Eiendom AS, Linstow AS and ROM Eiendom AS, which hold one third of the stocks respectively.
The goal and vision of OSU EIendom AS is to develop the property that once belonged to NSB Eiendom, hereafter ROM Eiendom, on the south side of the railway’s track system leading in to Oslo Central Station, further to Oslo Atrium and eastwards to the Middle Age Park.
We will develop approximately 350 000 of the total 900 000 square meters pointed out in the planning zone for Bjørvika. The area currently under development by OSU has been named OperaKvarteret.
OperaKvarteret will be composed of 12 buildings, situated on a row just after the Thon Opera hotel. All the buildings originate from the innovative Barcode-principle with emphasis on tall, slim constructions and see-through lines from the inner city.
In total, OSU will develop approximately 380 residents with room for about 2000 people. The business and office spaces will generate a number of 10 000 employers.
