OperaKvarteret

print

The area to be developed by OSU lies right next to the new Opera House, and is called OperaKvarteret. The total surface at OSU’s disposal is 350,000m²; equivalent to 44 football fields. 3,000 people will find their new home in OperaKvarteret, and 10,000 people will have their workplace here. OperaKvarteret will consist of 12 separate buildings, which will be built in a straight line from Oslo Atrium.

All of the buildings are part of the BARCODE development concept, with tall, slim buildings and see-through design. The PWC building was the first one to be completed, back in 2007. KLP relocated to OperaKvarteret in 2010 and the building of the new DNBNor (bank) headquarters is well underway.
