The agency for planning and building services in Oslo has made the movie "2020 – Bjørvika".
In the film, they present their vision for the new city district and it also aims to unveil certain qualities in the zoning plan for the whole area. The making of the film is based on a digital 3-D model designed to display the area ten years ahead in time. The film does not necessarily give an accurate account of how it will be in the end, but rather suggests the urban functionality of the whole area. The film as such is true to the zoning plan and to the program of urban spaces in Oslo. If you think the film portrays both the everyday and spectacular side of Bjørvika, we would like to think that we have succeeded in making a good presentation.
